A 1 V battery is connected across a series combination of a 2 k-ohm resistor and a forward-biased diode. Determine iD and vD for the diode using:

(i) the ideal diode model;

(ii) the constant drop model with vD = 0.7 V;

(iii) using the load-line method together with the Ebers-Moll model for a diode assuming Is = 10^-15A and n = 1.
