For a 30ft simply supported beam, there is a uniform load of 1.5 k/ft. along the length and two point loads of 20 kips each spaced at (from x=0 to x=30ft left to right) x=10ft and x= 20 ft. How do I find the maximum moment for the beam? (preferably using simple equations if possible)
