Question: A manufacturing company makes two products. Each product can be made on either of two machines. The time (in hours) required to make each product on each machine is listed in the file P13_33.xlsx. Each month, 500 hours of time are available on each machine. Each month, customers are willing to buy up to the quantities of each product at the prices also given in the same file. The company's goal is to maximize the revenue obtained from selling units during the next two months.
a. Determine how the company can meet this goal. Assume that it will not produce any units in a month that it cannot sell in that month.
b. Use Solver Table to see what happens if customer demands for each product in each month simultaneously change by a factor 1+ k. Revise the model so that you can use Solver Table to investigate the effect of this change on total revenue as k varies from - 0.3 to 0.3 in increments of 0.1. Does revenue change in a linear manner over this range? Can you explain intuitively why it changes in the way it does?
This question is from Mathematics as well as it is about writing a number set in builder notation form.
Convert the nonlinear, second order differential equation to the first order system and solve the differential equation
Your task is to design a binary finite state automaton (FSA) to accept all strings that represent valid messages (for your particular codes and parity property) and reject all others. This FSA must be DETERMINISTIC, REDUCED and must be in STANDARD..
Assuming exponential growth, find the function P(t) that describes the population of Lubbock, letting 1970 be time zero.
If we set the price of a ticket to $20, we can sell 600 tickets. If we raise the price by x dollar, 4x less people will buy the ticket. What is the highest possible revenue that we can obtain.

a bus traveled at an average rate of 40 mile per hour and then reduced its average rate to 30 miles per hour for the rest of the trip. If 204-mile trip took 6 hours, determine how long the bus traveled at each rate.
Write down the integral which gives the length of this curve. Simplify the integrand, but do not calculate the integral. Construct the integral which will compute the average temperature between 9 am and 9 pm.
Use Newton's method to find the intersection points of the curve y = cos(x) and the circle of unit radius centred at (x, y) = (0.4, 1.7) correct to 3 decimal places.
A major MNE has incredible knowledge resources but they are often underutilized. The reason: often the knowledge that is needed within one part of the organization exists within that organization but normally there is no system by which those who ..
A rock is dropped from a window and falls to the ground below. The height, s (in meters), of the rock above ground is a function of the time, t (in seconds).
