A positive charge, Q = 50 μC is located on the x-axis at x = -1.3 centimeter. A positive charge which is twice as large is brought from infinity to a point x = +1.3 centimeter on the x-axis. The mass of each charge is 0.15 gram.

Part A: Determine how much energy does it take to assemble these two charges?

(J)

Part B: If you release the two charges simultaneously, find what would be the speed of the 50 µC charge at infinity?

(m/s)

Part C: If you release the two charges simultaneously, find what would be the speed of the 2(50) µC charge at infinity?

(m/s)
