In the USA, Line voltage is 120 Volt and is driven at 60 Hertz. (Rating is RMS voltage) you have a computer in your circuit that has an inductance of 5mH. The inductor is 0.1 meter long with an area of 0.001 m2.

a) Determine how many turns must there be in the inductor?

b) To put the circuit in resonance, determine what should the capacitance be? (All elements in series).

c) The capacitor is replaced by a resistor of 2.0 K-ohms. find the angle delay between circuit current and voltage?

d) Find what is the average power output of the resistor?

e) You want half the power out the resistor, find how large of a capacitor should you add to make this happen?

f) Draw your resultant phase diagram for part e.
