With high hopes of traveling to Rio to meet supermodels and Neymar, you join Amazon. One of your first tasks is to determine how many part timeversus full time workers to hire at the Memphis facility. There are two shifts, morning andafternoon. Fulltime workers work both shifts.

For either shift, you can also hire part-timers,who only work one shift. Full time workers cost $100/day. Part-time workers cost $25/day. Government rules stipulate that at most half the workforce can be part-time.

You need to hire enough workers so there are at least 100 in the morning shift and 150 in the afternoon shift.
