An automobile starter motor is an electric motor used to start the gasoline engine. To operate the starter motor, the ignition switch is turned on, and a current of 50 Amp is supplied through a 2.0 millimeter radius copper wire that connects the motor to the automobile battery.

(a) If electric charge had to travel the 0.50 meter distance from the battery to the motor before the motor would operate, determine how long would it take?

(b) Determine how far do the electrons move in the 2.0 second required to start the engine?
