Consider a gas turbine with turbine staging and reheating. It operates under the following conditions.

Inlet air at 285 K and 100 KPa

Burner operates at 600 kPa

Air leaves the burner at 1700 K

Reheat operates at 400 kPa and heats to 1700 K

Turbine exhaust to the ambient 200 kPa

All the devices are ideal

Determine

a) Heat transfer required in the reheat unit (KJ/kg)

b) Thermal efficiency of the plant

c) if it is a 113 MW power plant, what is the required flow rate of air?
