Question: A compound pendulum in the form of a uniform bar hinged at point 0 is hanging at rest when struck at a point a distance h from 0 by a horizontal force F, as shown in Fig. Determine h so that the horizontal reaction at O is zero. Note that such a point is called the center of percussion.
