A closed feedwater heater of a Rankine cycle is used to heat the working fluid (water) from a state of 370°F, 400psi to a saturated liquid. Steam is bled from between turbine stages at a state of 500°F and 300psi that will get condensed to a saturated liquid.

Determine: First drawing your schematic and numbering your inlets and outlets.

a) The mass flow rate of bleed steam needed to heat a mass flow rate of 2 lbm/s of water.

b) Draw your process for each fluid (water side and bleed steam side) each on a separate T-s diagram.
