Question: (a) Determine bounds on the error between the continuous signal and the output of the sample/hold for a zero-order and a first-order hold. (Hint: Consider the rate of change of the continuous signal.)

(b) Apply the results in (a) to a continuous sine signal and determine the errors for various values of the sample period to sine period.

(c) Which hold gives a smaller error in (b).
