As the leader of a wildlife exploration venture, you must determine the best selection of four out of eight possible sites. The sites are labeled as s1, s2,..., s8 and the expected associated benefits quantified and given in the table below:

If site s2 is explored, then site s3 must also be explored. Furthermore, regional restric- tions are such that exploring sites s1 and s7 will prevent you from exploring site s8. Exploring sites s3 or s4 will prevent you from exploring site s5.
