Historically the proportion of students expressing overall satisfaction with these online subjects had been 80%, however the survey results for the pilot indicated that 369 out of 450 students expressed overall satisfaction. Management immediately declared the pilot a success, as "overall student satisfaction in the pilot exceeded 80%".
a. Test at the 5% significance level whether the data support management's conclusion.
b. Use the appropriate macro output which could be used to test the hypothesis in part a. Include the resulting Excel output and verify that the output supports your calculations and conclusion in part a.
c. Use an interpretation of the p-value in your output for part b. in a brief statement that says in everyday terms why/why not management's conclusion was correct.
