Question - To Determine: From the given mass-pulley system as shown in figure (a) below, If mA = 13.0 Kg and mB = 5.0 kg, determine acceleration of each block. Mass mA rests on a smooth horizontal surface; mB hangs vertically.

To determine:

 If mA=13.0 Kg and mB=5.0 kg as shown in Figure (a) above then, determine If initially mA is at rest 1.250m from the edge of the table, how long does it take to reach the edge of the table if the system is allowed to move freely. Mass mA rests on a smooth horizontal surface; mB hangs vertically.


Part (c)

To determine:

If mA=13.0 Kg and mB=5.0 kg in Fig. 4-53 above where Mass mA rests on a smooth horizontal surface; mB hangs vertically. Then, determine If mB=1.0kg, how long must mA is if the acceleration of the system is to be kept at 1/100g?
