Aircrafts require longer takeoff distances, called takeoff rolls, at high altitude airports because of diminished air density. The table shows how the takeoff roll for a certain light airplane depends on the airport elevation. (Takeoff rolls are also strongly influenced by air temperature; the data shown assume a temperature of 0 ºC.) Determine a formula for this particular aircraft that gives the takeoff roll as an exponential function of airport elevation. (Note: Use the general exponential function.)

What are the different forms of linear equations in two variables? Show an example of each form. How does the sign or value of the slope determine its type (i.e. whether it is +ve, -ve, undefined, or zero)?
Evaluate the value of x for which the power series converges - determine whether or not it converges at the endpoints of that interval.
Calculate the ambiguity function of a signal with an envelope u(t) = Bexp(-t^2)T^2). What should be the value of B that will make the signal of the unit energy?
How are the steps for solving equations and inequalities similar? How are the steps for solving equations and inequalities different? Give examples. You must do all parts of this question for credit.

In planning for a major redesign, Beth collected data at her store on several consecutive Saturday mornings. She noticed that customers arrived at the checkout at a rate of approximately 100 per hour. Fully 20 percent of the customers had 10 items..
Suppose you wish to test the claim that μ is different from 113.9. Given a sample of n = 218 and a significance level of = 0.10, what criterion would be used for rejecting the null hypothesis? Assume that the standard deviation, σ, of the populati..
What is the probability that a green marble was chosen?
A study showed that there are 17 vehicles for every 10 households. how many vehicles are there for 106 million households?
Calculate the mean and standard deviation (by hand) for the MINITAB created binomial distribution with the probability of a success being ½. Either show work or explain how your answer was calculated. Mean = np, Standard Deviation =
State Euler's Circuit Theorem. Explain why this theorem should be true and explain Cantor's Diagonalization Argument. Give examples and explain what this argument was used for.
