Q1 - Case Analysis:
The first question is based on the case - 'A Difficult Hiring Decision'.
Managing Talent is one of the core HR challenges. And, selecting the right candidate for a job is of one of more challenging aspects of this work.
Please read the above case (posted with this assignment in Blackboard).
Assume that the bank has hired you as an independent consultant to provide your recommendation as to which of the three candidates they should hire.
Write a short report with your analysis of the candidates, and your recommendation, and submit it in Blackboard.
As a minimum, you should address the following questions:
Overall, what are the pros and cons of each candidate?
What hiring criteria did you use?
How do the three candidates rank against your criteria?
Recommend a selection decision. Who would you hire ... and why?
Who would you not hire ... and why not?
Be detailed, specific and justify your selection decision.
