Option 1

Students can conduct a job analysis on a job of their choice using one of the methods in the textbook to aid in the creation of a job specification and job description for a company of their choice.

Option 2

Students can develop a policy based on one of the most recent changes to employment legislation. The students critique and analyze the policy and program in relation to the HRM, and the criteria discussed in text. Strengths and weaknesses of the policy and program are discussed with detailed recommendations for improvements to reflect a higher priority and accountability to HRM, and to minimize legal liability.
