In this section, you must describe a full and detailed procedure for the management of poor performance in the workplace. You need to ensure that you have included the concept of a "Performance Improvement Plan" as one of the steps that will happen in your procedure. Your procedure should cover all steps from the identification of poor performance - through to termination of employment. Your procedure must be 'fair' and 'legally compliant'.

You need to provide detailed and specific step by step procedures. You will need to consider the following for each part of the procedure:

  • WHAT is the action that will occur
  • WHO is responsible
  • WHO will be participating
  • WHEN will the action/step be occurring
  • WHAT type of information will be collected at each stage of the process

HOW will the information from each part of the procedure be stored

This is a PROCEDURE for a retail environment - step by step in numeric order to help aid the business in the rollout of a new policy and procedures document relating to performance management. in this case managing poor performance.
