Portfolio: Lesson Plan

A lesson plan is a detailed plan of instruction for a single lesson that is designed to teach students. Including a lesson plan in your portfolio will inform the hiring committee about your method and strategy of how you will run your classroom.

Read the common core standards and select one standard. Create lesson plan using that standard. More will be discussed during our class on Friday. If you miss the Friday class at 5, make sure to watch the recorded video for extra support.

Lesson Plan Guideline
The lesson plan you create will be your artifact. Artifacts are used to demonstrate your
knowledge in the field. Some examples of Artifacts are:

For this module, you will only focus on one artifact which is creating a lesson plan to include
in your current portfolio.
