Question: You will prepare a manuscript length paper that provides a detailed original analysis of a social protest text (a manifesto, a performance, a rally, an incidence if civil disobedience, a website). I recommend that you choose a social movement on which you can find a substantial body of already published research that can provide a larger framework for the movement. Although you should have a comprehensive knowledge of the movement and be able to describe it briefly, I am not asking you to do a complete study of the movement, but only of a particular text or issue within the movement.
