You are tasked with designing and prototyping a network for example.com, a national electronics retailer. Example.com currently has four regional stores (Nth, Sth, Eas, Wes) but has plans to expand as finances and their customer base permits. Each store has it's own Frame Relay connection to a local ISP and a Frame Relay connection to the other stores. Each store has two access layer switches. AL01 services the point of sale (POS) devices such as barcode readers, cash registers, printers and IP phones. While AL02 services the requirements of the Back Office including personal computers, LASER printer and poster printer.The POS area and the Back Office should be treated as separate LANS with the following requirements within each region.
POS:
Cash registers: 8
Barcode reader: 8
Printers: 9
IP Phones: 12
Back Office
Computers: 6
Printers: 3
Barcode reader: 1
Poster printer: 1
