Designing and preparing aqueous buffer solution with the pH indicated.

pH=3.50

Your buffer solution must have the capacity to maintain its natural pH within +/- 0.10 units on addition of 1 ml of 1M HNO3. Give the chemical formulas and lewis structure of the buffer constituents, the chemical equation for the buffer equilibrium and the pKa or pKb of the equilibrium. Show the math you used in the Henderson-Hasselbach equation to calculate the molar concentrations of the buffer constituents necessary to meet the buffer specifications and give the masses in grams of the two constituents needed to prepare the 100 ml of buffer solution.

Give complete details of the design and preparation of an aqueous buffer solution (volume 100ml) with the pH indicated.
