Given a brushless motor that should redesign a motor shaft for it because the current size of the OD motor shaft is smaller than it should be.

The professor said, there is a cam installed in the shaft, but there is a problem with thickness wall of the OD surrounding the Thread of the cam

  • We need to come with standard (t) that fit the diameter of the cam and the OD.
  • Look at the below picture (figure one)
  • Designing a motor shaft for brushless motor:
  • Specify the bearing standard. in the front and the back
  • The length of ( Lm ) is not changing ; Look at the below picture
  • The cam diameter is not changing
  • Specify the thickness wall of the thread where the cam is inserted in.
  • The parameter of the motor is not changing.
  • Provide the tolerance of the thread and the bearing standard
  • Show all work in steps (Hand writing) with all formula used to dot eh calculation
  • Please, do not use tables to make the calculation

Information (attached), you might need to do the calculation.
