You are designing a cellular organism. You need a protectivecovering for this creature, and so you decide to use acarbohydrate.

The problem is that you only have two choices: amylose andamylopectin. Which of these two molecules should you use?Why?

I'm not sure about this, but I said I would choose amylopectinbecause the branched helices make it stronger and thicker layer topenetrate. Is this the right way to think about it?

Also, what specific problem might this organism have if youwere to release it in the woods near your home?
