Instructions

Your boss has decided to add a new company to her existing businesses and has chosen the shared co-worker space corner. She has tasked you with the job of designing the lay out and the Infosec features required for the company.

Your assignment is divided into 3 sections:

Section 1) With the attached link from Trenval Small Business Development design the company.Include all components required for a small business plan including costing, competition, and your staff (this will be reviewed by Industry experts).

Section 2) The company location is in Cobourg, Ontario. You have the 2nd floor of an executive building which has the capacity for 10 conference rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette and 4 large storage areas. A small elevator and a stairwell are in the building. It has one entrance into your area from the elevator in the building, the entrance to your space is shatterproof glass. Design your floor plan (submit diagram), keeping in mind your requirements for information security, servers, privacy, and all elements required for a Hot Site. Computers, audio/visual equipment will be added later.

Section 3) Design your security features for your company. Companies that have showed interest in leasing your shared working space include banks, manufacturing companiesa government marijuana dispensary and more. With a shared workspace you can increase the capacity for clientele, identify in your plan how many companies you can accommodate and what the security features for your company would look like keeping in mind access for employees as well as 24-hour protection/ monitoring. Your boss has a considerable amount of money but is frugal, use your resources wisely.
