The structure consists of a wood frame with plywood roof deck, wall sheathing and floor deck. general form of the building construction is to be determined by the designer.
Work required:

1. design the typical elements of the roof and floor framing

2.design the supporting columns and bearing walls

3. design the shear walls and the horiontal diaphragms

4. draw general framing plans for the roof and wall structures

5. draw section details of the roof, floor, and walls to show the form of the building construction withe the incorporated wood structure

Minimum expectations
-design the typical elements for the framed structure

-show work with statements describing what you are calculating: such as sizing a beam considering shear, why or why isnt it a safe size or if you need to consider another size

-when calculating the size of a member include drawings illustrating the member and its loading

-include drawings of the structure. (something to reference when constructing the building) identify tables/data reference sources used in the design process
