Question: Design the database for Institute Registrar's Office
Institute Registrar's Office maintains data about the following entities:
1. Unit Coordinator as Academic Employee, including employee identification number, first name, last name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, contact email, address;
2. Class Sessions, including class group number, class time, and semester;
3. Units, including unit code, unit name, unit category, unit start date, and unit end date e.g. unit code is M8154002; Unit name is Database Management for Business; unit category is 88_2023; unit start date Is 9-Nov-2023; unit end date is 02-Dec-2023; Moreover, each student' grade in each enrolled Unit needs to be stored into the designed database.
4. Rooms, including room number, room type, and location;
5. Students, Including student number, student First name, student last name, gender, phone, email, and address;
Business rules (i.e., relationships):
1. A Unit Coordinator manages zero, or many Units, and a Unit is managed by one Unit Coordinator.
2. A Unit may generate one or many classes; and a class comes from one Unit.
3. A Unit may enrol one or many students, and a student may enrol in zero or many Unit in each semester.
4. A Class is held in one room but a room holds one or many Classes.
5. A department has one or many Unit Coordinators, and a Unit Coordinator is belonging to one department.
