Question: Rational Synchronization: The case where one clock is rationally related to another clock (e.g., clock A has N cycles for every M cycles of clock B) is a special case of periodic synchronization. Such situations often occur when both clocks are the result of dividing down a higher frequency master clock. Suppose you have two clocks that are rationally related by the ratio 3:4.
