Design a personal exercise plan that meets (and indicates) recommended weekly requirements for physical activity, helps you reach your own personal fitness goals, and is realistic for your lifestyle. Include exercises in the appropriate amounts for each of the following components of physical fitness- aerobic (cardiorespiratory), resistance (muscular strength and/or endurance), and flexibility. Be sure to use the FITT principle in the development and explanation of your plan. Explain how your personalized exercise plan will reduce the likelihood of chronic disease. Be specific and cite your peer-reviewed sources.
