TASK - You must read the Performance Horses case study in Interact Resources before starting this assessment item.
Overview
Your assignment is to develop the final design for the Performance Horses control panel. You will be required to submit a working prototype
Tasks:
1. Create the final design for the Performance Horses control panel. This design must:
a. Meet all the requirements laid out in the case study;
b. Include all pages required for the final implementation of the design;
c. Include all screen components for each page;
d. Include all navigation components;
e. Include all the improvements recommended by the peer review and usability evaluation.
3. Create a Design document that details:
a. An overview of your design, its advantages, and how it meets the Performance Horses requirements.
b. The reasoning behind your final design decisions, with reference to your original design and principles of design or usability.
c. The recommendations from the peer review and usability evaluation and how these recommendations were implemented in your design, along with the reasoning behind the method of implementation (this can be done in tabular format).
i. If a recommendation was not implemented, then indicate your reasoning behind this rejection with reference to the principles of design or usability.
Your design will be assessed for usability as part of the final evaluation of this assignment. You must ensure that:
• All wireframes are as complete as possible;
• The wireframes are correctly linked, and that all links have been tested prior to submission.

In total, the farm can handle 20 horses and 5 people working in the farm.
On your map, should be able to see all the buildings, paddocks, yards, gates and parking factilities.

• 1 indoor training arena + 1 outdoor training arena

• Employee roster for exercising + feeding + washing + treatment of horses

o Information about each horse (name + age+ breed + ...)
o Arrival of horse (arrival date and time)
o Quarantine of horse (location of stable for quarantine purpose)
o Feeding routine + exercise routine + treatment if any
o Medical appts of horse
o Foal?
o Other information?
• In terms of feeding routine of a horse, who is feeding which horse (daily) and whether it has been done? There must a way for you to show on the user interface whether a horse has been fed or not daily.
• The same needs to be shown to see whether every horse has been exercised daily.

• Booking
o Need to show how to book a stable, yard, paddock or arena.
o If a new horse is arriving, owner needs to book a stable to house a horse.
o Yard, paddock and arena has to be booked to exercise a horse.

o Add, edit or cancel a booking for a yard, paddock, arena or even a stable.
o Employee roster: View, add, edit an employee roster.
o Employee roster: Need to show which task has been completed and which task is yet to be completed.
o Employee roster: Employee needs to be able to select a task and enable it to show that it has been completed or not and provide notes if necessary.
• Tracking visitor
o When a visitor visits the farm, owner wants to register that visitor.
• Information to put into the system include, vehicle registration number, location where vehicle is parked and time and date of arrival.
• And when the visitor leaves, the information on date and time of departure needs to be added to the visitor log.
• Visitor log : need to have that option of adding a new visitor and editing a current visitor.
• Visitor does not have to arrive and depart on the same day nor from the same gate.
