the hd cable signal send out is usually ranging between (1-25mv), with the frequency range from 1000Hz- 20Khz. An amplifier will gain 46 db will boost the signal before sending it through the cable connection. Signal will travel through 2 cable segments, each will deteroriate the signal by 1/100. To maintain the signal level, at the end of each cable segment a repeater was placed with gain + 20 db. Arriving at the location, signal is then splits to 20 houses which cause 60 db deteroriation. Calculate and design the appropriate amplifier needed to maintain the signal (max) 5V at the house.
