Describe, design and illustrate a Hawala transfer.

For this assignment you are required to demonstrate a clear understanding of the origin, cultural history, and logistical details of the Hawala remittance system. The concepts presented have to be consistent with real time applications and feasible within the parameters of the materials presented in the class, augmented with outside research from scholarly sources. Students will demonstrate a necessary scope of fluidity with the design components for this assignment. Variables that should be considered include, but are not limited to, scale, flow, and profit distribution.

Submissions should be at least 8-10 pages in length, not including a cover sheet and bibliographic material. Turabian formatting is required.
