-Your friend read an article about Yasha Ambady, the founder and CEO of Excellence Health, a healthcare software company with record profits and market share. The article describes Ms. Faulkner as "visionary" with a strong ability to "empathize with others." Your friend draws the following conclusion: Obviously, companies that have empathetic CEOs have higher profits than companies without empathetic CEOs. Identify 2 scientific pitfalls in your friend's reasoning and explain why each is problematic. For each pitfall suggest what additional evidence would be required to support your friend's claim. Next, following the scientific method models discussed in class and in the reading (and demonstrated via numerous experiments discussed in class), design a simple test to assess the hypothesis your friend offers.

Next, offer your own hypothesis of why Yasha Ambady may currently be the leader at Excellence Health: describe 2 key mechanisms that could have led to her being the leader. Explain your reasoning for each. Finally, what two actions would you recommend Ms. Ambady do in order to be an effective leader in the future? Explain why each is important.
