Sales Management Assignment: One of the most important responsibilities faced by sales managers is motivating their sales team. The purpose of this assignment is to design two programs to bring out the most out of your sales team. Rather than prepare the assignments in a format that resembles a "paper", students should prepare their programs as if a salesperson is reading them (rather than a professor). They should be visually appealing and capture the attention of the sales team.

Sales Team: Students will take on the role of sales manager of a summer camp, such as Camp woodward.

1. Sales Contest - Design a sales contest. Students should include:

a. Theme
b. Quantitative goals
c. Incentive program
d. Reward(s)
e. Length of contest
f. Progress report strategy

2. Recognition Program - Design a noncash recognition program that brings attention to some important skills/achievements your sales team may have accomplished.

a. Program should be designed on an annual basis. You will want your sales team to want to be motivated to earn this achievement every year.

b. Some monetary/prize award may be involved but the key is the recognition for performance.
