Overview

Educational experts develop strategies and techniques to provide the best instructional strategies for learning. These strategies are grounded in the research of learning theorists and various methods of acquiring knowledge. In this assignment, you will identify activities for your training program that align with Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction. You will then begin to outline your training program.

Instructions

As the department lead, you are tasked to further develop the training program for your employees. In this assignment you are to write a 4-6 page paper in which you complete the following:

Describe the activities that you will use in your training program. Make sure that you: Outline the activities that will be implemented with clear descriptions.

One of the activities for each of Gagne's Nine Events should be technology-based. Explain the learning objectives and the instructional strategies you will use in the program training.

Be sure to discuss how the activities you selected will help ensure that the learning objectives of the training program are met.

Be sure to explain your rationale for the strategies that you selected.

Develop an outline for your training program.

The outline should not be more than 2 pages of your assignment.

Outline the resources you will need for the activities that you have planned. This includes any travel, personnel, equipment, and possible budgetary considerations.

Support your rationale with scholarly research, using three sources to support your writing. Choose sources that are credible, relevant, and appropriate. Cite each source listed on your source page at least one time within your assignment. For help with research, writing, and citation, access the library or review library guides.
