Problem-

Design a discrete common emitter BJT amplifier to have overall gain of -8 V/V. (Determine value for R1, R2, RC and RE)

Rsig = 10kΩ, RL = 2 kΩ, VCC = 9V,

For calculation, assume β = 100, vBE.on = 0.7 V, C = ∞, and VA = ∞.   

1. IE = ~2mA,

2. Current in the voltage divider is ~ 0.2 mA

3. VB = ~3V

Please include the AC and DC analysis. For the AC analysis calculate the values of the input resistance (Rin), Output resistance (Rout), open circuit voltage gain (Avo), and overall gain (Gv).
