Supermarkets are currently booming in Uzbekistan. Your job is to design a completely new supermarket or chain of supermarkets and answer following questions:

1. You need to select segment of your supermarket: 1) Affordable with limited SKUs (Discounter). 2) Mass market, with medium pricing (like Korzinka or Makro). 3) Premium with exclusive products and services. In this section you need to describe your target customer and what values would your company bring to a consumer. 
2. Think of the brand name brand logo of your supermarket, also select location. Provide detailed description why your location fits your segment. You have to analyse area of the place, opportunity for having warehouse and installing other relevant equipment. Take into consideration parking slots too. Also think of what kind of interior design you need to make to reflect your brand's position. You may design basic brand book. 
3. You have to design store layout by using theories covered in this module. Keep in mind that you have to think of consumer turnover and flow. How cashier registers will be aligned and who would you avoid queue. Moreover, your layout should fit your initial segment that you have selected. You are advised to use pictures for this section with a description, you may use any available software and hardware for you. You also may use this free tool, to design layout of your store. 
4. Merchandise description. In this section you need to discuss: 1) Range of merchandise refers to the variety or number of different merchandise items the retailer stocks in the store. 2) Depth of merchandise is the number of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) within each brand of the merchandise line. 3) Breadth (assortment): This refers to the number of merchandise brands in that merchandise line. 
5. According to the report of Unicef people with disabilities today have a lot of limitations in Uzbekistan and become socially distanced. Think of methods how your supermarket can be accessible and friendly to any customer. Moreover, what programs can you offer to employy people with disabilities. Conduct a research to apply international experience for your supermarket.
