As you learned this week there are a number of different organizations that offer certifications and each organization takes a different approach to the requirements for a certification (i.e. some require experience, some require a test, and some require training). Your team will create a new certification for Scrum.

1. Give your certification a name.

2. Define the requirements for how a person can obtain this certification as the other organizations do.

3. Define how a person keeps the certification after receiving it (i.e. a certain number of training hours over a certain period of time or just pay a fee or others).

4. a logo for your certification and design a certificate that would be presented to each certification holder.

Do not use the exact same requirements for existing certifications and do not keep the exact same post certification expectations, come up with new requirements or new combinations of requirements. You can make the certification as easy or difficult to get as you want, remember the more difficult the certification the more prestigious.
