Beverage Menu
Please give me a heads up on how to develop a beverage menu for an operation of a choice.
Your operation: Choose which type of operation you want to use. No matter what type of operation you choose, it needs to be one where you will be serving wines, beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Some options include a/an: tavern/pub, hotel bar/lounge, airport bar, casual dining operation, fine dining operation, country club, night club
Provide approximately a one-page description of the type of operation your choice, providing an overview of the theme, décor, overall ambiance, your target market, and the types of foods you will serve. You do not need to write up a full food menu, you would just describe certain types of foods.
Your Menu: Design a beverage menu for your operation. It should be designed to look like an actual menu that you would hand to people when they enter the establishment. This means it includes various colors, special fonts, varying font sizes, headings for each drink category, and could include some pictures/graphics if appropriate. It is important to also include descriptions for each item. Do not include prices, just the drinks. An internet search on "beverage menus" can provide various examples of actual beverage menus.
Your beverage menu needs to include the following selections:
Red wine offerings (8-10)
White and Rose wine offerings (8-10)
Sparkling and/or dessert wine offerings (4 total)
Beer offerings (8-10) - with some combination of domestics/crafts/imports
Craft cocktails (6 total)
A signature drink (1 total)
A variety of non-alcoholic beverages (8-10)
Your selections should reflect the type of operation you are designing it for.
