It would describe what changes there are to normal physiology that cause the pathology behind the disease. Discussing what happens at the cellular level.

2. There should be clear connection between the pathophysiology and the signs and symptoms that are seen. Being descriptive in the discussion of the signs and symptoms.

3. There should be discussion of the etiology (what causes the problem). One may want to include any common predisposing factors.

4. Discussing the risk factors associated with the disease-not the etiology but things that make the person susceptible
