Background: The Strategy Implementation Project is intended to allow you to apply our course concepts and tools in your own business.  Essentially, you will address this question: What should the senior leaders of DOCDIGITIZER business do in order to enhance the effective implementation of its strategy? 

The first step is to identify the organizational unit you want to focus on.  This might be the business unit you are in, another unit you are closely involved with, or your overall company (if it's not too diverse and complex).  It is essential that the unit you select meet these criteria: 

  1. It should be headed by a general manager (division president, country manager, COO, CEO, etc.), who might even be yourself.  This person will be your "client," and you should address your report to him/her, tailoring your analysis and recommendations to his/her style, leeway to enact your ideas, and so on. 
  2. You should have access to the information that will be needed for you to successfully complete the project. 

Ideally, the business you study will be in need of your insights - a case in which there are currently major misalignments, or in which a new strategy has been selected and now needs to be implemented.
