My statement of problem is "Across the United States, a significant number of youth aged 12-18 experience violence and abuse within their homes, leading many to flee and become homeless. This creates a dangerous and unstable situation with devastating consequences for their physical and mental health, safety, educational attainment, and future opportunities." The community I have chosen to research is homeless youth in Kansas City, Missouri with the Salvation Army Organization.
