Amy Thompson and John Zimmerman, both in the HR department at Acton Inc., were asked to present a brief brown bag lunch talk to fellow employees about using social media responsibly on the job. As avid social media users, Amy and John have prepared a program and drafted the following memo describing the proposed talk to the HR manager, Byron Hobbes, who requested the talk. They would like to seek their boss's feedback prior to their presentation. Their draft message contains many faults, not only in grammar and spelling but also in content and organization as many statements are either uninformative or extraneous.
