"A large fashion retailer is hiring a new Human Resource Manager for one of its new locations. The Director of Human Resources for the company is going to interview the job candidates. The position requires 5-8 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a Human Resource Department. The experience need not be in the fashion industry, but that would be a bonus. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for running the entire Human Resource Department at the new location. In addition to his or her own responsibilities, this person's management responsibilities will include motivating employees, resolving conflicts, and overcoming resistance to change.

The Director of Human Resources wants to use the most valid form of interviewing. She wants to limit the number of hypothetical answers provided by the applicants. She would like to do whatever it takes to assure that the person who is offered the job has the experience necessary to do the job.
