Describe any additional notes you have about your interaction. now my patient was a bit resistant to wanting to eat healthy however he did tell me that he is ready for a change, and he will start with breakfast and going to bed early- my notion is I did not want to overwhelm him everything all at once, but I did confirm with him the types of foods he could eat to enjoy a diabetic diet. He mentioned that his wife was in long term care with him and she was the one that normally prepares the meals. H e may be willing to visit the church and get some support but hesitant. I displayed to him a plate that showed the different amount of servings for each meal and he did not want anything to do with it, Communicated to him.
