Question: How does one's race affect the person's fear of crime walking alone at night in the person's neighborhood?

My Hypothesis: Black people are more likely than white people to be afraid of walking alone at night in their neighborhoods.

Justification: Previous research has indicated that racial disparities in perceived safety and fear of crime exist. Individuals in minority racial groups may be more likely to experience fear of crime due to bias and discrimination in criminal justice systems and other areas of society. Therefore, it is likely that race impacts one's fear of crime.
