Problem

Make presentation/lecture using PowerPoint presentation that explains what happens during 12-18 weeks prenatal development. Remember, need to supply college-level information to the class so that they can understand the concepts of development involved in that stage.

I. Show a picture or video relating to that stage.

II. Describe what happens in that stage. What is currently forming? What is done forming?

III. Is this stage the critical period for the formation of any body part? Is there any substance or disease (teratogens) that is particularly harmful during this stage?

IV. Present a recent research article ( not a website or popular magazine) of interest to you that relates to your assigned period. Describe it in your presentation by telling us who was studied, what was studied, how it was studied, and the results. You can use any book or website to create your presentation, but you will ALSO need to review at least ONE research study.

V. Create a reference list of materials that you used to create your presentation. DO NOT link your articles. Need APA style references and write out the entire reference. ( title, (author's last name, year). journal, addition, pages.
