Assignment -

(1) Three companies: Tesco; just eat: domino

(2) Obtain recent annual reports of each of the three companies and use information in the annual reports (and any other information that they can obtain) to answer below questions -

Question 1 - Describe the similarities, and differences, between the types and sources of capital used by the three companies in (1) above to finance themselves. Use data taken from the annual reports of the companies to support your answer.

Question 2 - Critically explain why you think that the similarities and differences between the types and sources of capital used by the three companies exist.

Question 3 - Also, critically explain how the differences between the types and sources of capital used by the three companies could have affected the capital structure, overall cost of capital and market value of each of them.

Note - Support your answers to questions with data taken from the annual reports of the companies and recent research results.
