1. Describe two natural disaster risks the hotel faces. What is the likelihood and potential impact of each of these risks?

2. For each of the natural disaster risks you discuss in 1., recommend (a) one pre-loss and (b) one post-loss action that the hotel can take to control the risks. Be sure to explain how each action will help the hotel control the risk.

3. What is the hotel's class of occupancy? Why?

4. Evaluate the life safety risks associated with a fire at the hotel based on each of the following human characteristics.

c. Awareness of the fire
d. Knowledge of the building

f. Crowd control

5. Recommend four loss reduction risk control measures that the hotel can implement to address the issues you noted for the life safety human characteristics in 4. Be sure to discuss how each measure will help the hotel reduce the impact of the risks.

6. Describe a risk that the hotel faces in each of the following areas. These risks should be specific to the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. For each risk include an analysis of the likelihood and impact of the risk.
