Case Study: Salta is a machine operator at Wells manufacturing and has been operating the hydraulic press for the pass 5 years. One day while at work Salta was accidentally hit by a forklift. He was taken to the local hospital where he was admitted. After a few days in the hospital, the doctors release Salta. It was recommended that Salta should get counselling to ease his mental pain from the accident. The Company conduct an interview and found that the forklift had mechanical issues that lead to the accident. Wells Manufacturing contacted Salta and informed him of their decision to compensate him for his pain and Suffering.
